RV Vacation Planner

Plan Smarter, Laugh Harder, Travel Farther

Built by an RV Family, for RV Families

We built RV Vacation Planner because we were tired of seeing new RV owners—families just like ours—get buried under bad advice, outdated checklists, and generic gear recommendations that never actually fit the way people camp.

When we bought our first RV, we did what everyone does: hit Google and YouTube. What we found was a sea of conflicting opinions, half-baked tutorials, and manuals that might as well have been written in hieroglyphics. It felt like every “simple weekend trip” turned into a research project.

So we decided to make something better.

RV Vacation Planner is for the real RV community—folks who love the open road but want less stress getting there. Whether you’re planning your first big trip or your tenth weekend getaway, we’ve built the checklists, guides, and humor-filled tips we wish we’d had from day one.

Our mascot, Ronnie the RVing Raccoon, keeps things light. He’s living proof that RV life doesn’t have to be perfect to be amazing. Through his stories, gear reviews, and questionable wisdom, we remind everyone that every mistake’s just another campfire story waiting to happen.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about the miles... it’s about the memories.

From our family to yours... welcome to the road. We saved you a seat by the fire.

🌎 Our Mission

  • To make RV life simpler, safer, and a whole lot funnier.
  • We believe the road should be full of discovery, not guesswork.
  • Every checklist, product, and post we share is designed to help you plan smarter, laugh harder, and travel farther.

🔧 What We Stand For

  • Honesty first. We test gear the hard way—on real trips, not in a studio.
  • Community over clicks. We’re here to help families enjoy the RV life, not sell them on what they don’t need.
  • Education with a wink. Learning should be as easy as sitting by a campfire with friends.
  • Family always. This brand was built by one, for many.

✍️ A Note From the Founder

Hey there, fellow traveler —

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve felt that same mix of excitement and “what did we just get ourselves into?” that every new RV family faces. I know it well... because that was us.

Our first few trips were a blur of tangled hoses, forgotten gear, and owner manuals that somehow answered everything except what we needed. We spent more time hunting for real information than we did enjoying the actual weekend.

But here’s the thing: even with all the mistakes, the stress, and the learning curve… the RV lifestyle hooked us. The freedom, the memories with Mary and the kids, the quiet early mornings with coffee and a view you can’t buy, it was worth every misstep.

And that’s why I built RV Vacation Planner.

I wanted to create a place where families could skip the confusion and get straight to the good parts, the fresh air, the laughter, the late-night campfire stories, and all the adventures that make the road feel like home. A place built on honesty, humor, and real experience… not fluff.

Now we’ve got Ronnie the RVing Raccoon riding shotgun, adding some questionable wisdom and a whole lot of laughs along the way. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that RV life doesn’t have to be perfect.... it just has to be yours.

So from my family to yours: welcome.
I’m glad you’re here, and I hope the guides, checklists, stories, and Ronnie’s antics help make every trip simpler and every memory sweeter.

See you out on the road.
